Benchmark is a residential, co-educational emotional growth school We are dedicated to assisting troubled young adults, between the ages of 18 and 28, as they learn to change their negative behaviors and prepare students to be able to live independently/inter-dependently as healthy, productive and responsible adults Benchmark teaches the skills necessary for success in education, job/work, physical health, emotional well-being and independent living As a voluntary and private school, Benchmark provides an optimal setting that allows our students to achieve their independent living goals Students live on campus with their peers and resident counselors, sharing their learning experiences through a structured curriculum Students should be prepared to spend no less than 12 months at Benchmark Some students will require 18-24 months, depending upon their individual progress
