The Community Family Guidance Center Foundation was established in March 2008 It is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes The purposes of the Foundation is to provide funding to Community Family Guidance Center (CFGC) in order to support the needs in the community for mental health services, consultations, community edcuation, child abuse treatment and prevention services, and training emerging professionals in the mental health field The CFGC Foundation Board of Directors work closely with the Center and the CFGC's Executive Board of Directors in order to continue to support the mental health needs of the community
