Did you know that Family Counseling Service is also the sponsor of Aly's Prom Closet? Aly's provides dresses and tuxedos to disadvantaged young women and men during the spring prom season For 13 years, Family Counseling Service has provided a one week sexual abuse treatment camp at Eagle Lake, California for Nevada children, most of them from Washoe County The camp is provided at no charge for those participating Consumer Credit Counseling has provided a weekend financial 'boot' camp for the past 4 years to young people getting ready to age out of the foster care system in Washoe County There is no charge for the participants In addition, FCS and CCCS counselors are pleased to speak to groups of any size on numerous topics, including job loss, financial management, traumatic loss and other topics of interest or concern to our community
