Nityanand Rehabilitation and Residential Mental Health Care was established by Dr. Nitin Dalaya in June 2002 with a sole purpose of providing a range of psycho-social rehabilitation services for clients suffering from various PSYCHIATRIC ILLNESSES including SUBSTANCE ABUSE. Dr. Nitin Dalaya is a post graduate from B.J.Medical college, Pune. After starting his practice as a consultant psychiatrist at various multi-speciality institutions he came across a lot of difficulties in delivering services to the affected population.Nityanand – Katraj is located amidst lush green and peaceful surroundings. The centre provides accommodation for around 100-120 individuals, with separate wards for Male and Female. The living areas are spacious, furnished and well ventilated. Separate dining area, Day-care activity zone, counseling cubicles, vocational area and gardens provide space for therapeutic activities for the treatment program. Patients residing are given treatment in the form of Medication, Counselling, Day-care, vocational training and are taught self independent skills. Nityanand Rehabilitation Centre also caters a treatment program to treat DRUG ADDICTION.
