Cardiac Rehab begins during the recovery phase, after your event or surgery and consists of an outpatient progressive exercise program with classes to teach heart healthy living During exercise you will be monitored for any changes in your heart rate, rhythm, breathing and oxygen levels Our Registered Nurses will teach you about how to eat a heart healthy diet, how to reduce your chances of having another cardiac event, review your medications and help to ease you back into leading a healthy active life You will also be seen by our Registered Dietitian and Diabetic Educator as necessary Our Medical Directors are experienced in cardiac care and will review your information regularly to recommend any changes they feel are necessary to your plan of care
