Western Region Health Centre’s Young People’s Mental Health Program is designed especially to support the needs of young people (aged 16 – 24 years) who have complex support requirements relating to a significant mental health concern. Our Young People’s Mental Health services are responsive and support clients to reach their full potential through collaborative recovery work and skill building. Young people are supported in identifying their goals and strengths, developing skills and knowledge, and accessing community resources. These include living skills, communication and social skills, decision making, problem solving, recreation, reducing harms associated with substance use and self-harming behaviours, education and employment opportunities, family and relationships.
